I haven’t been feeling too upbeat lately and when you get something such as this, that you happen to read first thing in the morning, you know that you have honest-to-God well-wishers around you. It’s a thought-provoking potent quote by Isaac Bashevis Singar worth sharing and that’s exactly what I thought of doing. Hope it brightens your day and make you think the way it made me.

“When a day passes, it is no longer there. What remains of it? Nothing more than a story. If stories weren’t told or books weren’t written, man would live like the beasts, only for the day…Today we live, but by tomorrow today will be a story. The whole world, all human life, is one long story. “

We are all characters in a story that die ever night and are re-born the next day. How our characters behave and what they do is in our hands. The way each story turns is also in our hands. How do you wish to mould it?
Maybe its the written word that keeps us from becoming a beast, but is it the fear of the legacy we leave or the want to be known as something good or beautiful? Whatever it maybe it at least keeps the humans sane.
